Founded in 1990 as Plc, Logital S.p.A. turned into a Joint Stock Company in 2000, with the admission of shareholders from the Monrif Group, an editorial company that owns newspapers such as Il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione and Il Giorno. Always oriented towards innovative technological solutions, both hardware and software, Logital consolidated several products and solutions in the fields of safety (Guardian), access control and production control. Recently it created the WOB product, which is an innovative video information system that can be installed on means of transport (buses, undergrounds, trains, ships) able to receive contents via Ian WiFi rather than via GPRS, and, in the future, via UMTS.

Aurora is a non-profit association of agencies aiming to promote and support companies interested in starting technological renovation projects in order to transform themselves into e-businesses. Joining the consortium allows companies to start renovation projects and to access loans for the improvement of their productive, commercial and administrative processes. In fact, e-businesses are vital in the new competitive challenge that all companies are faced with in a globalized market. This does not simply entail uploading a web-site or portal for e-commerce purposes, but implies changing the roots of company's productive and organizational processes by automating and digitizing them.
