Information sheet on the handling of personal data personal to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.
This document describes the website management procedures employed for the handling of the personal data of users and visitors.
This information sheet is also being issued pursuant to article 13 of
Legislative Decree 196/2003 – Personal Data Privacy Code – to those (Data Subjects) who interact
with Unimatica S.p.A. web services for the protection of personal data, available telematically
from the address http://www.unimaticaspa.it, the home page of Unimatica S.p.A.’s official website.
This information sheet has also been issued for all the websites and services under the
domain "unimaticaspa.it", but not for any other websites that can be consulted by means of links
within the same.
The information sheet has been drawn up in line also with Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European personal data privacy authorities, which met as the group founded by article 29 of Directive number 95/46/CE, adopted on 17th May 2001 to identify a set of minimum requisites for the online collection of personal data and, more specifically, the procedures, timeframes and types of data that the Data Controllers must give to users when they access webpages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.

The handling operations connected to this website’s web services are performed
at the offices of Unimatica S.p.A. indicated above and shall be performed only by technical
personnel of the Office appointed to handle the data and, occasionally, by those appointed to
perform maintenance work.
No data deriving from the web service is disclosed or diffused. The personal data provided by
users who forward requests are used for the sole purpose of providing the service requested and are
only disclosed to third parties when it is necessary to do so (e.g. the mailing service).
Types of data handled
Browsing data
During normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures designed
to run this website acquire certain personal data the transmission of which is essential to use of
Internet Communication Protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with
identified subjects, however, by its nature it could, by means of processing and association with
data held by third parties, allow the identification of the user.
This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by
users connecting to the website, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the
resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to forward the request to the server,
the size of the file obtained in response, the number code indicating the status of the response
given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system
and the user's computer environment.
This data is only used to obtain anonymous statistical information on use of the computer and
to check it is used correctly and it is deleted immediately after processing. The data could,
however, be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of supposed computer crimes to the
detriment of the website: otherwise web contact data is not kept for more than seven days.
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses on this
website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address and the handling of the personal
data provided and necessary for the
development of the C.R.M. – Relational Marketing system.
Cookies
Optional nature of data conferral: apart from the aspects indicated in connection with browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data in the registration forms or procedures. Non-conferral may make it impossible for us to fulfil your request.
Data handling methods
Personal data is handled using automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes for which it was collected. Specific safety measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, unlawful and incorrect use and unauthorised access.
Data subject's rights
The subjects the personal data refers to are entitled at any time to receive
confirmation as to whether data concerning them exists and to be informed of its content and
origin, to verify its accuracy and ask for it to be supplemented and updated, or corrected (article
7, Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
Pursuant to the same article, Data Subjects are entitled to request the deletion,
transformation into an anonymous form or freezing of data used in breach of the law, including that
to oppose handling of the same in any case for legitimate reasons.
